It comes with the job

Found this lovely poem in the military spouses forum on ravelry. I wish I knew where to get this so I can hang it up! Maybe I'll make my own....

I wear no uniforms, no Air Force blues or Army greens.
For I am the one in the military ranks that is rarely seen.
I have no rank upon my shoulders. Salutes I do not give.
But the military world is the place that I live.
I'm not in the chain of command. My orders I do not get.
My husband is the one who does, and this I can't forget.
I'm not the one who fires the weapon or who puts my life on the line.
But my job is just as tough--I'm the one left behind.
My husband is a patriot, a brave and prideful man.
The call to serve his country I cannot always understand.
Behind the lines I see the things needed to keep this country free.
My husband makes the sacrifice, but so does his family and me.
I love the man I married. Soldiering's now his life,
But I stand among the silent ranks, known as the military wife.
