With the exception of the bear and the glittens (which I knit myself), all the knitted items are just examples. They are simply there to show the outcome of the pattern and the appearance. So it's not going to look exactly like in the picture. The elephant for example, isn't necessarily multi-colored, but it can be if you really want it to! Like I said before, the winner will be able to pick the color she wants. I tend to stick with what works so I was planning on getting the yarn for the project from Knit Picks. I love this website--the yarn is super cheap and really good quality! I think for the cloche hat, though, I'm going to try to find a similar yarn that is shown in the picture because I love the effect--but it's ultimately up to you of course!
