The sacrifices I make...

I just got done watching Step Brothers with Jon. Now I'm normally open to this type of movie that my husband is typically drawn to, but this one was just.awful! I'm sorry, Babe. Yes I like Blades of Glory, Old School, and a lot of Will Ferrell's other movies (although I'm disgusted by the fact that he has to take his shirt off in every.single.movie), but this was a no go for me. I should have stuck to my stance that I had no desire whatsoever to see it. And I'm sorry I ruined it for you by not laughing at every single line uttered--I just didn't think it was funny!

So what movies have you put up with that your significant others wanted to see so badly?

I refuse to see certain movies: usually anything with Jim Carey or Adam Sandler. the most recent movies I put up with include a Star Wars movie (a few years ago) and the most recent Pirates of the Carribean movie. They were awful! But I think I'm going to have to owe him one...he saw Shopaholic with me!

Why did he have to break his balls out in this movie?! Like I was so interested in seeing that. I could've went my whole adult life never wondering about Will Ferrell's private parts and now its forever burned into my mind.

This is one area where living apart is advantageous - there are sooooo many crappy "boy" movies that LT has gone to see with his buddies, thereby saving me the torture. Usually we can agree on action movies, but lucky for me he doesn't seem to be on the Will Ferrell bandwagon...

I have to flip this one around, and in fact I plan on blogging about it in the near future but poor *R* had to sit through FireProof with me. WORST ACTING EVER. Seriously. I had wanted to see it for months and then I was finally watching and I couldn't help but laugh during the sad parts because Kirk Cameron and the supporting actors were just THAT bad!

I'm the worst. I seriously send him off on a Man Date if I don't wanna watch the movie. I have nooo problem making other plans. hahah!

Then again, I always get surprised when I do stick around if he's renting one. I.E. 300? LOVED.

Hey girlie! Thanks for the comments on my blog, I am going to add you to my reading list. Your comment made me giggle a little (=

When Joe and I first started dating he made me watch Super Troopers. It's like one of his favorite movies. I was trying to impress him so I sucked it up and watched it. It is a movie only a man could appreciate! I still have his copy. It's collect lots of dust LOL.
